Gosh, these toddler years are something else, right? My little Leo, bless his heart, has been having some really *big* feelings lately. Like, full-on floor-flailing, screaming-into-a-pillow kind of feelings.
I’m trying so hard to stay calm and use all my gentle parenting tools, you know? Acknowledge the emotion, offer a hug, give him space. But some days, it just feels like I’m running on fumes, and his intensity just… it gets to me too.
We had a moment this morning over a dropped cracker that felt like the end of the world. He eventually calmed down, and we snuggled, but wow. Just wondering if anyone else has toddlers going through a particularly intense emotional phase right now. It’s beautiful to see them express themselves so fully, but also, whew.
