      Hi everyone,

I wanted this very first post in our community to come from me, to share a little of the heart behind this space.

Honestly, Koaiv was born from a period of my own life when I felt lost. In the foggy world of early parenthood, I was searching for a map, a guide, anything to tell me I was heading in the right direction. I spent so much time wishing I had been equipped earlier in life with the tools for resilience, for courage, for simply becoming.

This space is my answer to that younger self. It’s a place built on a simple but powerful idea: Trust The Becoming. We are here to explore that messy, beautiful, and profound journey of growth—for our children, and just as importantly, for ourselves.

So, before we dive into all the practical challenges and strategies, I’d love to open the floor with a bigger question. It’s the question that started it all for me:

“What was the moment you realized that parenting was also about your own becoming?”

There’s no right or wrong answer. I’m just incredibly curious to hear your stories.

      Welcome to the circle.

Wow,  Thank you for sharing this so openly. That feeling of being lost in a “foggy world”… that hits deep. It’s comforting just to read that and know someone else gets it.

Thank you for creating this space.

Thank you so much. That feeling of “someone else gets it” is the very foundation of this circle. So glad to have you here.

This question really made me think. For me, the moment was when my 4-year-old had a huge tantrum, and I found myself getting just as angry as she was. I realized in that instant that her “becoming” was triggering all the parts of my own “un-become” self. It was a terrifying and humbling realization. That’s when I knew this journey was as much about me as it was about her.

What a beautiful and vulnerable story. The concept of our children triggering our “un-become” selves is profound. Thank you for giving us that language. It’s exactly the kind of wisdom we hope to explore together here.

It takes real courage to admit that our kids can trigger our own unhealed parts. I’ve had similar moments where I thought I was the “grown-up” handling things, only to realize I was just as dysregulated as my little one. It’s humbling for sure, but also kind of beautiful in a way? Like, we’re all just humans learning how to be human.
